Where We Drift Together

Where We Drift Together is an original textured painting inspired by companionship, stillness and the quiet beauty of moving through life side by side.

Within a dreamlike Nordic landscape, two mallards drift together across pale, mist-covered water. Their small figures create an intimate point of focus within the vast and quiet surroundings — a gentle reminder that even when the way ahead is unclear, we do not have to move through it alone.

Layered in soft grey, warm taupe, muted sage and subtle blue tones, the painting shifts between atmospheric light and richly textured surfaces. The contrast between the carefully painted birds and the abstract landscape allows the scene to reveal itself gradually and change softly with the light throughout the day.

A calm, one-of-a-kind artwork created for interiors where nature, texture and stillness are allowed to take space.
